The hick village of Hogtown is being terrorized by an odious blob of black goo that has fallen from the sky and obliterated the office of their local rag, the Post Toastie.
Every time someone goes near the congealed blob, or CONBLOB, it hostilely merges them into its primordial mass of corpulent ooze.
The CONBLOB bloats noticeably in size when it takes-over an unsuspecting target. Then the CONBLOB makes an indecipherable, pompous gurgling noise, and regurgitates the demanned victim-- who has been stripped of their job and their dignity.
With the fate of our media environment hanging in the balance, is the CONBLOB unstoppable?
